Blizzard has announced the start and finish dates for Diablo 2: Resurrected’s forthcoming Early Access and Open Beta testing, as well as the content that players will be allowed to experience before the game’s official release later this month.
The Early Access beta for Diablo 2: Resurrected will begin on August 13th at 10 a.m. PDT/6 p.m. BST. Only players who pre-order the game on PC or console will be allowed to participate in this test, which will run through August 16 at the same time.
The Open Beta for the game will begin one week later, on August 20 at 10 a.m. PDT/6 p.m. BST, and will conclude on August 23, at the same time. Both tests will be available for pre-loading a few days before they begin on all platforms.
Both Diablo II: Resurrected beta testing will allow players to try out the Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin classes — the latter two were not accessible during the game’s technical alpha – as well as the first two acts’ updated cinematics.
You may take them on alone or with up to eight other players, with experience, monster health, and item amount increasing as your party grows in size.

Although you won’t be able to transfer saves from the original version of the ARPG into any of the two testing, the complete edition of the remaster will, as previously stated. You’ll also notice that your characters may be assaulted while on the loading screen during the testing, although this will not be the case in the final game.
Diablo II: Resurrected will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on September 23.
