Swords ‘n Magic and Stuff promises housing, mod support, world events, dungeons, and more in roadmap

Swords ‘n Magic (S&M) and Stuff aims to deliver the ultimate RPG/Dungeon Crawler experience. It takes the best elements of popular games and translates them into a single, cohesive experience. Players can expect to find a world filled with a variety of environments, monsters, and items. Swords ‘n Magic and Stuff is a game of open-world adventure that constantly changes based on players decisions.

As of the writing of this post, there is no mention of SWaM’s upcoming roadmap on the SWaM website, but that doesn’t mean the developers are abandoning their plans.

A lot of you are probably familiar with Swords ‘n Magic , a fantastic browser-based RPG that looks and plays like a cross between The Elder Scrolls and Skyrim. It’s a game that’s filled with vast open worlds, unique character development, and a gripping storyline. But the game’s roadmap remains pretty bare. Developer GameStratege has been working on the game for years, but a preview build of the game released in 2016 didn’t even include the player housing feature that the game is supposed to have, nor did it offer any kind of mod support.

According to a roadmap update provided by the developers of Kindred Games, the adorable cubic multiplayer RPG Swords ‘n Magic and Stuff has a lot in store. Housing, in-game mail, and a comprehensive stats panel are among the things in progress on the map, which is linked below, while Mac support, alchemy, and fishing are among the improvements mentioned as coming soon.

Aside from that, the game will have mod support, minigames, and tavern games, as well as a revamp of the magic system and pet system, astral magic, dungeons, global events, and new weapon abilities and weapon stats, among other things. It’s worth noting that none of the items on the list have a firm release date, but the Steam post does mention that the next big content update will include homes, mailboxes, the Windless Woods area, and a number of repairs and tweaks to current game features.

In terms of updates, the developers have promised weekly news postings from now on, given that the game isn’t releasing several fixes every week. For now, gamers can get a general overview of what’s coming in the roadmap picture below, as well as on Steam.
