Arise has many fans, people who want to try it out and see for themselves what it’s like. There is a message board for the game, and while many of the threads are insightful and interesting, the reality is that a lot of players aren’t even aware of the information on the membership forum. So I decided to write an article that would be a good starter to what has been discussed there.
This is the latest developer message from Tales of Hearts R. This time, we get a bit more information on the battle system by explaining how the three combos work.
Tales of Arise is a free-to-play game for smartphones and tablets developed by Namco Bandai Games, which is now in its closed beta phase . The game is set in the world of Cardia, and follows the story of characters that have been placed in a mysterious world. You find yourself in a different world and you will have to find out your surroundings and other people who are around you. The game features a battle system that is based on your strength as well as your own character. You will be able to choose the characters you want to play as in the game.

Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomizaka explains how they applied the theme of heredity and evolution to the game’s combat and character expression in this developer post. He explained that the scenes and locations in the film were designed to make players feel a close connection to the characters.
Art director Minoru Iwamoto said that his team paid special attention to the face and body movements of Tales of Arise, using both face capture and motion capture technologies. Account was taken of mouth movements, eyebrow movements and facial angles.
Project director Hirokazu Kagawa explained that the development team is always looking for ways to improve the action combat. As things got more complicated, the team wanted to make an action RPG that everyone could enjoy. Attacks and dodges are balanced with the Counter Edge mechanics, and the addition of Boost Attack and Boost Strike should give a good rhythm to the fights and their combos.
