World of Tanks Celebrates 11 Years with New Anticipated Tank and Frontline – Lightspeed-Gaming During World Wars I and II, tanks were at the frontlines of battle and did the real damage. They were instrumental in taking out the enemy and making sure the infantry could keep up. That’s why the World of Tanks team is celebrating 11 years on April 9 to April 12, 2017, with new tank models and the return of the Frontline.

World of Tanks has been one of the most popular games in the world for over a decade now, and the game’s developers and players have raised millions to help those in need this year. The latest release, version 9.16, is dedicated to the game’s 11th anniversary and includes 11 new premium tanks for players to enjoy, including the British Super Conqueror, which will be the first British tank available in World of Tanks, and the Soviet Tier VIII heavy tank, the Object 268. Isn’t it crazy that World of Tanks has been around for 11 years? It must have, since else, celebrating its 11th birthday would be a bizarre flex. In either case, Wargaming has a gift for you. You’re not going to refuse a gift.

“With their 11th birthday festivities, World of Tanks’ August Heat is heating up even more. Summer Presents are a wonderful way for World of Tanks to say thank you to its players for their ongoing support, much like every other anniversary. Tankers will get a brand-new, historically authentic Premium tank for just logging into the game: the T-34 with L-11. This Tier IV Soviet medium tank comes with a 100% trained crew and a Garage slot as well as a default concealment bonus. Additionally, between August 12th and August 22nd, tankers who log in 7 times on different days will be rewarded with a 7-day World of Tanks Premium Account and 7 Gift Tickets, which can be exchanged for valuable rewards such as bonds, credits, and even more valuable goodies in a special section of the in-game Store.”

Update 1.14 includes Czech heavy tanks, vehicle tuning, field modifications, the Safe Haven map, the return of Frontline, and a new mode called Topography that is meant to “test and improve tankers’ knowledge of maps and various changes to select Premium vehicles and the Personal Missions for Artillery.” Frontline is a 30v30 combat in either Normandy or Kraftwerk, and it’s been a long time since it’s been in the game, so this should be a pleasure.
